An innovative housing proposal aims to replace existing warehouses on the site next to and behind the listed Frogpool Manor, introducing a fresh concept for alternative living and plot arrangement. The plan features a Passive House-designed collection of spacious family homes on a brownfield site within the green belt. Barn-style houses are arranged in a distinctive layout around a central pond, fostering a village-like community while blending into the surrounding landscape and offering views across to the open countryside. Key design principles include high-quality insulation, efficient heat control with robust windows, airtight construction, heat recovery ventilation, and a thermal bridge-free design.
